My Grandmother use to save cereal boxes with the plastic inside to send us kids cookies. They kept well and unless someone saw what we took out, just thought we had a box of bran cereal and so our goodies were safe.

Large (1-2 lb) packages will store best in the freezer. Seal them well in a ziplock baggie. Take out what you will need the day before so it can warm to room temperature.

For years, my husband has been requesting “chipless chocolate chip coolkies”. He loves the cookie part, but has no need for chocolate chips or niuts.
