Our gang’s favorite Thanksgiving side

           *** A WORD FROM THE KITCHEN ***

One of my family’s favorite parts of the Thanksgiving meal
would have to be the potatoes. No matter how mucn we make,
they barely make it around the table. Don;t forget though,
we’ve got a huge family. For a little something different
but without straying too far from the traditional menu you’ve
got to try these  GARLIC MASHED POTATOES. You can make these
as much as a day ahead of time and keep in the fridge in the
casserole dish. Just let it get to room temperature before you
pop it in the oven to finish off the baking. You really get
that baked potato flavor with these.

Enjoy! Marzee

FUN KIDS GAME TO KEEP THE LITTLE GOBBLERS BUSY:

The name of the game is ** Gobble, Gobble **
One player leaves the room, while the rest hide a toy
turkey (or something that represents a turkey).
When the player returns, his job is to find the hidden
turkey. If he is not close, the others gobble very
quietly. But as he gets closer, the level of gobbling
increases. This continues until the turkey is found.
